The work “Ensnare” was made during the the Disko Arts Festival in Greenland in the summer of 2017. The work was made in collaboration with the Icelandic Visual Art Fund. Ensnare is a process based sculptural performance that attempts to ensnare the shape of a natural phenomena, a piece of nature that is fading and disappearing. An Iceberg was caught and brought onto shore, where the artist tailored a complete replica of the shape of the iceberg. While the Ice melted away miniscule details, scent, bacteria, and other micro documentation hidden​ ​in​ ​the​ ​Ice​ ​is​ ​transferred​ ​into​ ​the​ ​fabric.
