In the works Unwind II - III artist Anna Rún Tryggvadóttir exercises landscape watercolor paintings.

Unwinding tradition, narrowing down the brushstrokes she presents the viewer with a painting distilled of colours. The landscape has been taken out of it’s context, one sees a sparse tree, a symbol for life, growth and resurrection. But the watercolour supplemented with salt has the shade of the paper, rendering the image almost invisible, yet the chemical function of the salt encapsulates the idea presented, crystallizing a moment passed.
