The site specific installation Precious Precarious, was a part of the exhibition Earth Body at the UNAM Geology Museum of Mexico City in 2019. The installation combines mineral specimens from the collection of the museum with found mineral specimens from the streets of Mexico City. The work is based on two forms of kinetic structures, the specimens from the museum collection are placed on small motors rotating counter clockwise, the found specimens are placed under dripping mechanisms that slowly coat the rocks with colours as the valuable rocks from the museum collection. The work is a material performance where rocks are displaced and conjoined in an intermingeled-relationship.

The work Precious Precarious is supported by the Icelandic Visual Arts Fund and The Icelandic Visual Art Copyright Association
